About Divine Mechanics
Aloha, I’m Laurie, welcome to Divine Mechanics. I’ve been doing readings since 1999 and use metaphysical tools such as astrology, numerology, and tarot to help support anyone seeking a deeper understanding of their personal and/or spiritual journey.
Growing up on the island of O’ahu in Hawai’i, I became fascinated with astrology at 12 years of age, while being surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and starry skies. That early spark grew into a lifelong study of astrology, numerology, and tarot. I’ve been super fortunate to share these studies with countless clients from the sacred islands of Hawai’i to the creative hub of Portland, Oregon.
My journey has led me to collaborate with remarkable organizations, each with its own unique vibe:
Oregon Humane Society, a champion for animal rescue and care, partnered with Divine Mechanics for their Portland Doggie Dash fundraiser. Tarot readings at Kitty Corner became a meaningful way to support rescue animals, with 100% of proceeds donated to Oregon Humane's compassionate mission.
Multnomah Athletic Club, (The MAC) a Portland Institution since 1891, celebrated for its rich history, and vibrant community spirit. Tarot readings added a touch of mystique to an elegant and memorable NYE Speakeasy event.
Green Anchors, an innovative hub for creativity and sustainability that supports artists and makers with space to build, restore, and reimagine.
Music Workshop, a visionary non-profit bringing music education to students worldwide - Tarot readings added an element of connection at their lively Inspire Rockin’ Block Party.
Alberta Rose Theatre, a historic Portland gem nestled in the vibrant Alberta Arts District, tarot readings added spiritual vibes and meaningful moments to Christopher Worth's Levity Album release.
Cascada Thermal Hot Springs Hotel, a serene and luxurious retreat offering a perfect setting for introspection and renewal.
Last Thursdays on Alberta Street, a bustling monthly art walk alive that welcomes an eclectic gathering of artists, dreamers, and people from all walks of all life.
Groove Suite, Portland’s forever-iconic dance club vibing with energy and inspiration, where I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with a uniquely cultural and creative audience.
I see tarot as a “Book of Life,” that reflects our shared human experiences, while astrology and numerology reveals our purpose and shows us larger cosmic patterns that also influence our personal journey.
